reimagined for life today.
WÒYÓU
卧游
A Journey Without Leaving the Room
A Stillnow guided experience
Why Wòyóu?
For days when you cannot travel—
or simply do not want to go out.
Enter a Chinese landscape through image, sound and imagination.
Your body can stay.
Your attention can travel.
What is Wòyóu?
WÒYÓU 卧游
More than 1,500 years ago, age and illness kept the Chinese painter Zong Bing from returning to the mountains.
On the walls of his room, he painted the landscapes he remembered. He played the qin, an ancient Chinese string instrument. There, he travelled through the mountains in his mind.
This idea became known as wòyóu. It is not limited to places you already know. You can also travel through a landscape you have never visited.

A lighter journey
Not every journey
needs a ticket.
This journey asks for no additional travel.
Wòyóu offers another way to meet the world—
without always moving through it.
It gives the mind room to settle,
while asking less of the Earth.
